Thursday 8:00 am to 12:30 pm.
At Widad Center we offer a unique program for each child. Each child receives a comprehensive assessment during the first 30 days of treatment, which allows us to get to know each child.
Each of their learning objectives are monitored on a daily basis through comprehensive data collection systems. The children participate in 1:1 sessions, interactive group sessions depending on their specific need, and how quickly they acquire new skills.
The goal of every treatment program is for the child to be able to learn from his or her environment and to be exposed to the least-restrictive setting possible in doing so.
Our Full day Program includes:
Professional therapists ( Behaviour Therapist) work in conjunction with learning staff ensuring that children receive appropriate services, whether it be on an individual or group basis.
All therapy plans are based on the level of ability and need.
Creating art enables children to make choices, solve problems, and build identity. At Widad center, there are a variety of programs available in which the children can engage their imaginations and express themselves in a creative environment: drama, music, arts , crafts and wood working.
At Widad, we offer children woodwork lessons that teach children key skill about planning, measuring and using basic carpentary tools. Children at Widad have created go carts, bird houses, animal shaped black boards and many more useful thing.
Social Responsibility Projects
Projects, and learning activities are designed to foster the childs’ social responsibility. These new experiences teach children to care about one another, to contribute to a safe environment ,to respect the natural world by tending to plants and animals and to foster skills and adopt actions that will help resolve social problems.
Let’s get moving
At Widad center, physical activities, sports, and exercise are designed to help the children develop fundamental motor skills (running, jumping) and object control skills (throwing, catching), and then subsequently use these skills in a wide range of games and sports. Emphasis is also placed on yoga.
"My daughter is really happy at Widad."
My daughter is really happy at Widad. Widad offers a unique environment for the kids that instills a passion in them. They allow them to be creative and flexible. Kids are allowed to be kids. I really love the importance they give on the whole rounded development of the children. Woodwork, yoga, cooking, arts and music are as important as academics, which I believe helps in channeling a lot of the creative energy children are naturally blessed with.

"Strongly recommend for occupational therapy."
I strongly recommend Divya for occupational therapy. I have interviewed with various occupational therapists after our class teacher raised her concerns about sensory needs of my child. I found Divya’s approach very professional, comforting, to the point and far from being commercial. During our sessions she has given us very constructive feedback and she was always very responsive to my questions and concerns. I felt very comfortable with her and my son has established a very strong bond.
"It’s a galaxy-wide difference!"
Everything is done that the kids can grow independently, master their own day to day needs. This is actually what makes a difference to us. My son’s speech is much better, his behaviour is much better, his social interaction is fantastic, when you compare two years back to now, it’s a galaxy-wide difference!
"Widad is a happy place."
We have been with Widad for a long time and I can surely tell that "Widad is a happy place." The children love it and the staff is so helpful and compassionate to the children. We visit the school for after school therapy, the Occupational Therapist Divya is simply great. She knows exactly what to do to make the child progress. Three cheers to all.
